Coloring the World Since 2004
It all started in the summer of 2004, aboard a small boat in the Mediterranean Sea. A nine-year-old boy, called Miguel, found inspiration in the shimmering waters and the maritime life around him. With ropes he discovered on the boat and his newly learned knotting skills, he crafted a simple yet robust bracelet. His first creation became a symbol of craftsmanship and creativity, adorning his mother’s wrist to this day.
Born from the Sea
The inspiration came directly from the maritime environment Miguel was immersed in. Using materials designed to endure the harshest sea conditions—sailing rope, metal hooks, and time-honored knots—he laid the foundation for what would become Wapper's ethos: strength, refinement, and uniqueness.
